Which hardware monitoring tool to get?

I want to get a comprehensive hardware monitoring tool for my PC and as far as I know, AIDA64 is the best one out there.

I don't care if I have to pay for it, or not, I just want the best one. Suggestions?

I don't know if it's the best one, however i use openhardwaremonitor.org's.

Yeah if you don't care about not free then AIDA offhand. The benchmarking component is nice.

I've just tried it and it looks quite good. I can see the temperature of each CPU core, which is one of the things I wanted (basic, I know).

Keep them coming people! It might well be that there's no one best tool and that a combination will give the best results.

Try Pc Wizzard very much alike aida but lighter and i think its free.

For basic stuff I use HWMonitor. AIDA has tons of stuff and is awesome but if you just want to know the temps I like HWMon better.

Well I will stick my vote in for AIDA64. I have been using it for ages(Since it was AIDA, then Everest and back to AIDA again) For me my favourite and the main reason I keep my license up is the LCD support. I always have my monitoring on my G15's LCD. It allows me 4 "pages" of whatever I want. I basically get a "blank page" and can add pretty much ANY sensor data I want.

Well yeah if you have an Logitech LCD KB and are not using AIDA on it you're an uninformed noob! In more ways than one, hmm

I do not have an LCD on mine (bought the nicely-priced G110 which has everything but), for the record.
