OK

Cant decide which CPU Cooler to go for? I really think i am interseted in the Zalman coolers because they are really good qaulity and look very nice.

My only concern is the weight of them!? I dont really know if its going to be a problem or not, any opinions?

I think i want to Buy

A: The Zalman CNPS7000B-Cu LED which is amazingly heavy and i would be woried @ 775g

B: The Zalman CNPS7000B-AlCu LED Which is alot lighter But not as pleasing to the eye @ 458g

C: The Zalman CNPS9500 LED My favourite but again is heavy and i guess would be top heavy in a tower. @ 570g

D: The Zalman Fatal1ty FS-C77 @ 918g WOW

They all seem really heavy considering the recomended weight is only 450g?

Some opinions please?

I would go for the ALCU version, since aluminum dissapates heat more quickly and with the extra copper it can hold more heat which is suppose to give you less temperatures. It might be a good alternative if you do not like noisy systems.

the one above.. C:

D is for gamers.. louder fan dosnt cool any better than C.

good air coolers have to be large with lots of surface area.... 570gr is okay..

I've got the Gigabyte 3d rocket cooler and it works great! Don't bother with the stuff it comes with, clean it off and just put a blob of AS5 in the middle of the processor, and job done!

Odd, I heard the all copper ones were better because they get rid of the heat better than aluminium.

I have the CNPS7000B-CU (Didn't have any of the LED ones in when I was ordering) & it R0x0Rz. It took 10 degrees C off my CPU compared against the bog standard Intel one, one was most pleased, and they are works of art. =]

Weight wise, you should be alright, mine has not had any issues and I don't remember hearing of anyone elses falling off and fragging a graphics card.
