Which is better?

    Is a quad core at 1066MHz FSB @ 2.4GHz better than 2 dual core processors at 1333MHz FSB @ 2.0GHz?

    Say for like running game servers.

    depends on what o/s you are planing to run.

    I say go towards the quad. Reviewers say that simple OC on the quad can really out perform duals.

    For a server, I'm inclined to say 2 x Dual cores. The memory bandwidth would be greater, as it wouldn't be sharing the same RAM for both CPUs (unless you get two sticks of RAM to share between CPUs), while a quad would be sharing RAM and memory bandwidth between all four cores, which could mean there's likely less memory bandwidth to spare.

    DanTheBanjoman would likely know alot more about this though, so hopeflly he can clarify, as I'm kinda interested in this too.
