I am lookin at 2 laptops, one is clearly better than the other but the one that seems like the best choice is missin a key so I am not too sure it it's worth it -

Behind browser tab #1 - http://lincoln.craigslist.org/sys/1697907312.html

And lurking on tab #2 - http://lincoln.craigslist.org/sys/1715291471.html

I sold my desktop and I'm haulin ass to Mississippi because I got angry tweakers tryin to break into my apartment and rob me because I evicted them... so the laptop I pick will need to be reliable. I know I could just get a new one but finding a better one at walmart for under $700 would be a challenge. :banghead: yes, fml; fml sideways on the floor in a hurricane.

Neither, go to www.notebookreview.com and register. Check the marketplace and maybe put out a WTB thread. You can get sooooo much better hardware(some w/warranty) for $700.

Likethis, an Asus G50 15.4" screen, 4GB DDR2 800Mhz ram, 9800m gpu, with lots of extras for $700.

Lot better than the local craigslist my friend. Want me to find more?

I would have to say #2, 512mb on the graphics card is nice, and also the hard drive is 7200rpm which is quite fast.

Damn... Well, this is great info, but sadly I don't have to time sit around and wait for a laptop to show up in the mail - I need to get the hell out of Nebraska, while still havin access to the internet as I book it. =P

Thank you though - I will book mark that site n pick up a good deal once I get my life back in order.
