well my corsair value ram runs fine other then dual channel and 1t timing is out of the question. use cpu-z to see what kind of ram it really is and post it here.

what do you mean like cpu heatsink or ram?

well ive hit ~2.6 on my 3200+ and thats with ram dividers and whatnot as my ram sucks as bad as yours. you can look at my system specs to see what else i have for hardware.

dfi overclocking guide

If you get the DFI motherboard, which in my opinion is the better choice, DFI street offers an overclocking guide that will tell you prity much anything you need to know about overclocking. Heres the link to the DFI overclocking guide.

have fun and good luck hitting 3Ghz. I hope to hit that with my new processor, an Opteron 144, as of now it does 2.7 stock voltages...
