OP maybe focusing on panel size as priority.

I personally thought about going for a 24" monitor but I just could not justify the premium cost for the extra 1 inch for a monitor which otherwise had the exact same specs.

At the end of the day the smaller panel allows me to use less AA, there fore higher fps.
Although I still cake on more AA than it is necessary in some games.

I personally do not notice the difference between x4 and x8 AA in some games.

Thanks for the help! Yes size was a big factor and im not huge on AA, so the size(IMO) will be well worth it. :toast:

For sure.

I still remember when I went from a Phillips 17" 4:3 CRT to a 19" 16:10 widescreen LCD.
The image felt really in my face.
Going from the 19" to 23" widescreen has not had such an impact but it is noticeable.

If you are willing to trade picture quality for size, then Acer gets my vote.
