Which MP3/MP4 to get? URGENT!

So yeah guys, I've noticed how my venerable Samsung YP-Z5F's battery life is now starting to seem a bit too short for comfort compared to before and so I've decided that I'd want to upgrade. Now if I could get another YP-Z5F i would get one (its served me for more than a year), but thats impossible.

SO...I ask, what MP3 should I get?

I'd need the following features:
-GOOD Sound quality; i.e.
-A well featured equaliser which would have a custom EQ (more bands better, but sound quality must NOT suffer).
-A decent price; dont recommend me something like a Bang and Ofulsen because its most likely a super overpriced rebadge of leftover YP-Z5Fs. Something around $200~$300 AUD.
-A sturdy body and screen; the YP-Z5F's one is one of the sturdiest out of all the MP3s I've used. I havent come across something sturdier
-IPOD style form factor, or one thats similar to the YP-Z5F's
-The ability to play videos and/or games is NOT NEEDED.

By the way, I'm eyeing the latest iteration of my MP3, the samsung Q1, does anyone have any good info/have one? I'd like to know a bit more about it.

I've heard great things about the Sansa Fuze, it has:

-Excellent sound quality
-Radio
-Small form factor
-Expandable memory (using HCSD card up to 16Gb)soon to be 32GB)
-Colour LED screen

I have a Creative Zen 16GB which I love. The sound quality is fantastic, the equalizer is great, and it is small. I have a nice case on it that lets me wrap the headphone cord underneath a flap, which gets it out of the way.

It also has an SD slot for expansion. Has radio, video, but no games. Very nice screen, very bright and colorful. Just get a protector for it. There is an X-Fi version of it which is supposed to have excellent sound quality.

IPOD? meh Its easy to get, pay $220 for ipod touch 8gb , or get like a 16gb nano for same price or somethin.

basically I think ipod is by far is great, except for their shitty software iTunes... other MP3 devices are great, they act like a portal HDD, so you can drag the files into your device on Memory Card what ever that unit takes... but I found they devices software are usually slow and coppy at some points, I have a Creative Zen 4gb, ipod touch/nano , and some other one cant think on top of my head, but by far I love the ipod

Sound quality wise? Is the zen better than the ipod? (Test with the same set of earphones)

I want something that blows everything else out of the water in terms of sound quality. According to CNET the ipod fits that but... from my personal experience thats not the case.

trust me... if you get a Sansa or Samsung you'll regret it. i have had 2 Sansa clips break on me due to Firmware failure and Hardware. they are built poorly. Samsung sucks period. SQ is very poor. COWON and iRiver are the best in SQ, Features, Etc.

Yeah i got an ipod too last gen one and love it synchs perfectly with itunes im assuming the Nano's and Mini's are pretty similar. Sound wise its great and i can put my photos on there to and battery life is ok for me. Bought a plug in charger so i dont have to charge with me lappy.

i have seen the Spinn and iRiver is at its knees begging. they need to stop. while their designs are cool and all their features and support just don't cut it. COWON D2 is still the #1 player of today. D2 was released back in 2007. with COWON's S9 coming out, it'll be a iTouch knockout for sure. the S9 doesn't have Wifi though but who cares.
