I copied it from the ASUS site. I'm just curious as I may update what's important. I imagine chipset and BIOS are? Maybe SATA? Cheers.

All of them. With good internet and 1-2 restarts, you could have all of those installed in under an hour.

BIOS Utilities and Manuals are if you need them. Asus is very good about their in-bios/uefi EZ Flash utility seeing the bios file on a USB stick.

BIOS - Get the latest bios update, and you can usually update it through the bios

BIOS-Utilities - Don't need these.

Chipset - Chipset drivers. You need them

AUDIO - Audio drivers. You need these

LAN - LAN drivers. Yep, need them.

Utilities - Nope.

SATA - Need these.

Others - Probably not.

Manual - If you need a manual.

I downloaded the SATA and in the .RAR contains 2 folders which are "Install" and "Driver". Which folder do I need to be in? Plus inside the "Install" folder contains AsusSetup and setup. The "Driver" folder contains just AsusSetup. If one of you could just quickly download the .RAR and have a look, that'd be nice.

Run the installer executable. Select NO on restart, install each driver until the last one...then restart. I recommend you read through the mainboard's manual and become familiar with it if you're going to update the BIOS.

On older hardware that drivers are outdated like 2007 is it still better use the chipset from manufacturer or the one of windows vista/win7?

As I stated earlier, you need to read your mainboard's manual. It will contain instructions and warnings and screenshots (generally) to familiarize you with. Also google your mainboard model and BIOS and you'll find all sorts of information out there.

If you don't know, right now is not the best time to find out...take the effort to read up on the how-to's and you'll do just fine though.
