Which of these two cards are worth the price?

Discussion in 'Graphics Cards' started by TechnicalFreak, Aug 29, 2010.

  1. Both cards are second hand.
    1. Powercolor HD 4670 (PCS), 1Gb DDR3. Price - 50$.

    2.XFX GeForce GTS 250, 1Gb. Price - 75$.

The prices in real life are not us dollars, but I put them in dollars because it's easier to understand, then putting it in swedish SEK.

What I would like to know, is which one of these cards should I buy?
Which one is the more powerful one??

I'd say the 250 is more than twice as fast as a 4670.

    I just picked up a 9800GT for about $80US.

Thanks for the chart. It makes me feel good to know my HD4850's are in the top 3...:rockout:

  5. Thanks everyone, I just got home about 30 min. ago and I am now running the GTS 250 card!

hows the GTS250 working out? considering the age of the GPU powering that card I still very much respect the performance they provide!

  10. It's amazing. I didn't think it would make a lot of difference between this and my old 9500GT card.

Now all that is left is the mobo so I can get a quad core cpu and a little bit more memory.
