Which should I keep: Sapphire 7970 3GB Vapor-X GHZ Or MSI GTX680 4GB?

I am having trouble deciding which one to keep. The 7970 with the beta driver release has made it a strong contender against the 680. Now that both are more on the even playing field, I am having trouble deciding which to keep. I need some opinions please.

i got told a lot of time that 2gb vram for 1920x1080 should be enough, only if u actually play games like Skyrim u will use up 4gb.

i think at some point with Half-Life 2 FakeFactory Cinematic Mod 11 i used 1,7gb but it when down really fast again to max 1,2gb.

So if we disregard the memory. Which one performs faster? I can't find any benchmarks for these GPUs. Do you know which one performs faster? I want more FPS :roll:

actually there r several reviews of 4gigs GTX 680 out there and they r normally a little under the 2gigs model when we talk 1080p.

The HD 7970 is more futureproof with its 384 bit memory bus and huge bandwidth. Metro 2033 is the title which proves this very well.

HD 7970 Ghz - 38.67
GTX 680 - 30.0

Even with overclocking GTX 680 does not scale well because of bandwidth constraints. HD 7970 Ghz is just the better option for anyone looking to keep their card for a couple of years or more.
