I fried my old videocard and am currently stuck with an XFX 6600GT so I am about to order a new card this will be the last AGP I buy before a complete rebuild/ upgrade but I need it to last another 6 to 8 months.. I'm on a tight budget as always and only have $150 to spend on the card so my choices are rather limited but these are what I was looking at, my question to you all is which will give the highest performance for the money.. I'm not particular to Nvidia or ATI because I've had good luck with both the only reason any had gone bad was due to my abusing them but I do want the best bang for the buck..

The choices

or this 1 yes I know the clocks are low but I figured on overclocking it anyways, it's also the cheapest which has me a little concerned because it's almost TO cheap

any input will be greatly appreciated because I plan on ordering 1 tonight

Thank you in advance

I like the 2nd or the last one. The last one just has less memory, and with your CPU you really don't need the extra, it would bottleneck. I say the last.

THe 512mb card for sure. the 7900gs has massive overclockablity, but for the price/performance I would go with the 512mb pro.

Honestly though your cpu will e a bottleneck with any of those cards.. I had my 1900gt rev.1 in my p4 3.0 630 and it was not up to par.

I would say go with the 512pro than work on upgrading the rest of your pc, if not than get something cheaper like the 256 pro will suit you ok.

I kind of figured the CPU would bottleneck any of these cards thats why I was not going for a high priced card and only gave myself 150 to work with because I wont be using it very long

Chewy I do plan on a full upgrade in the near future but I'm just trying to get by for a little longer till i have enough put away

Thank you to those who replied and I figured I would give an update as to what I decided on..
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161081

That is what I have ordered, yes I know I will bottleneck it some with my rig but I figured if I'm going to spend the money I may as well get something with a little zing.. The next step I will be taking is picking up an Asrock 939Dual-Sata2.. Yes I know 939 is a dead issue but the prices are right and it will give me a chance to move up to dual core so if any of you have ever used this board I would appreciate any info about your experiences with it

Thank you again for being as pactient as you all are :) you all rock
