Actually Binge, the GENE is a good overclocker. I can get the BCLK up to 216 before I start to have issues. The NB cooler just doesn't do it's job well enough for my taste. That's why it's in my back up rig.

he is looking at MATX boards which i would go for the Asus we used the watered down version at work with no VRM cooling to really speak of and hit 4.3ghz on a 920 no sweat

I am thinking I might as well scratch the MATX build and just go full atx for more options. I might go with the Bloodrage GTI.

I used to have an ASUS P6T vanilla back in February with a 920 C0 and I got it to 4.2 24/7 stable. It was a decent board.

Yeah! Go mATX! I'm going to see if I can get myself a P180 Mini for $79.99 and slap together my own mATX i7. I'm just afraid I can't fit a TRUE + 2 Ultra Kaze 3000's in the case.

You can fit any Xiggy into the case, and you'll be able to fit both fans on no problem, so unless the TRUE is taller than the Xiggys, you're good to go.

Oh yeah it will fit, it is basicly the same size and a regular p180 just not as tall :p I will be doing the same thing later on lol :rockout: cept with water cooling muhahaha

I don't mean to hijack this thread but... regarding Crossfire/SLI support on mATX X58 boards, do all the following boards support true x16/x16 2-way Crossfire/SLI?

EVGA - Newegg states so.
DFI - The DFI page states so.
ASUS

So 2 do according to specs. What about the other 2?

i've had great luck with my gigabyte x58 ud3r, yep, the cheap(er) one.. it has no problem running my 920 at 20X200 24/7.

Yes they all have 16/16 crossfire/sli.

I just saw an EVGA X58 SLI A1 sell for $148.50 on ebay for the final bid, guy had 100% feedback and everything... LOL right after I bought my Gene
