I got my Sempron to boot at 2.8 GHz. The motherboard crapped out though. Fastest stable I've gotten it to would be 2.6 GHz-

, just got the comp, so not too much time to test at how stable it will be at higher clocks, so I'm at 2.4 so far. my GeIL is hangin in there @ 240mhz, 2-3-3-6, 1T command rate. All of this is at stock voltages.

Well, I am beat. Best I had was 3.15 GHz on an Opteron 148 (riding out the rest of its useful life in my kids' PC), 3.08 GHz on an Opteron 146, and now 2.95 GHz on an Opteron 175. 3.2 GHz is a great number for anything less than phase cooled.

Me ether and i dont lag in any games at 1680x1050 resalution, so i dont see the point of pushing it past 2.6gHz. @ 1.4 Vcore.

I have a Sempron 3100 paris core that I got to 2.5 GHz, and since it has twice the L2 of my Sempron 2600 it gets a bit faster superpi times, around 35 or 34 seconds on the 1mb. I am too lazy to swap it out to this rig though :wtf:

My 3700+ San Diego is living happily at 2.75Ghz, 1:1 in my ASUS A8N5X. The G.Skill ddr500 and 470w PC Power & Cooling psu make it possible of course. All stock cooling and volts. Oh Yea! AMD! :nutkick:

Its 1.6vcore in bios

was really only stable enough for normal windows use
