thx buddy and yes you are attempting to bait me, buddy, they have never been friends and Mccain is been accused by many as being a democrat because of all his bypartisan laws and bills hes passed with senator like Teddy Kennedy and Diane Finegold. Hes actually very moderate and as close to a conservative Democrat as possible.

then a soilder is a Police Officer because they also do the things you listed? and do DEA agents report auto accidents, domestic violence reports , go to bank hold ups, go to shootings,make traffic stops, wear uniforms, write speeding tickets etc... there is a giant difference in the two. Having said that back to the topic at hand.

Actually, I can see how the Tim McVeigh comment might, on the surface, make sense. But once you look deeper at the core issues there is no comparison.

Ayers was an extreme activist no doubt, but their actions were not intended to kill people, only make political statements. He served his time. He's now a distinguished professor.

McVeigh, who also took extreme actions against the government, is a mass murderer and always intended to cause as much harm as he could. He's now dead by execution.

The fact that religion is so intertwined with politics these days is enough to make anyone sad.
