I had a Z270 get damaged in moving so I took the small plunge to an 10850k and an Asus Prime Z490-A.
Something in the process I noticed when researching is nearly every review but for maybe 1 on Gamers Nexus all spurge for the 10900k. Is it an Intel sponsered move? I can't figure it out.
On paper and what seems t be the real-world tests the 10850k is maybe 2& slower than the 10900k. It has the same cores and specs but for a 100mhz speed difference. Yet for also nearly 100 less than the 10900l and for the proce is seems like a no-brainer when sitting next to a 5800X and even more so looking at the proce increase for the 5900X. In todays market it seems like the budget king of the hill when placed next to the unobtainium 5900X.
So...what gives? Am I missing something glaringingly wrong?
