Possibly PSU start to failing but could be also that you have some short circuit connection usually can be in between mobo and PC case....

Faulty Capacitors on the Motherboard can also cause this issue.

Well that don't sound good(Puzzled). I was thinking possible faulty power switch and to try pushing it in slowly and see if it fails to come on then.

What does a short sound like ?, sure it's not just a relay which be more like a click ?.

Is this computer a brand like DELL\Compaq\HP ?, if so might be tricky getting a replacement for it.

If the computer was built around 2001-2006 the chances of bad caps are higher.

Any of the capacitors look like these the ?, the silver capacitors can bulge too. Although not all caps fail that way but always worth checking.

If all you are doing to diagnose the problem is turning the computer ON and OFF, then you are wasting everyone's time.

What steps have you taken to sort this out yourself?

Where can i see that post sir?thnks
In this thread, post numbers are in the right hand top corner of each post.

As this seems to be going in circles... Advice to MidnightBlue… Take your computer to a shop or get someone, to come and look at it, who can diagnose it; and, maybe, repair it.

This is a website where you have to have some form of mechanical ability/training, ESD sense. If this is your first time you are doing this ever, please read some books on building/repairing a pc, or take it to a shop and learn from there, for all we know is you may have a short on the case, a bad motherboard, bad power outlet or bad power switch.

By the way where are your system specs? You say Mobo and PSU, where is the graphics card and ram?

In this situation breadboarding isolates the rig out of the case for troubleshooting/inspection

To everyone, many posts in this thread are borderline for warnings. To those that have helped, thank you. To those who want to poke fun at someone, take that BS somewhere else.

Make only one change at a time, that way you'll know where the problem is. You tried 2 different power supplies, and it didn't fix it? Re-install original PSU. Now try disconnecting all hardware except what's absolutely necessary (extra hard drives, video cards, add-in USB cards, etc) - if that seems to fix it, re-connect one at a time until it won't boot again. The last thing you connected will be the culprit. But first, click on your TPU account name, click on system specs, and fill out all the blanks there, and make sure you turn on "show system specs" at the top, so everyone can see what hardware/software you're using. It's very hard to help you if we don't have this info.

When it won't turn on. Try to unplug the PSU from the wall for 15 min then plug back in. If that fixes it then get a new PSU

Thanks for your suggestion everyone...sorry i just want to know a little about computer.. @HUSKIE sorry if i born yesterday
Don’t ever apologize for wanting to learn something new. I once didn’t know anything about a PC. We were all at one point where you are now

Ok. Did you buy this PC already built? From dell or HP? If this was custom built for you. We need basic specs of the pc. You can use. Program called speecy to get this info. Run program and take screenshot of results and post back here
