Wierd bios flash result

Hi all,
I tried to update my bios today to see if I can push my o/c'ing a bit more. Everything I tried was unsuccessfull. All I ended up after each flash (and power cycling my pc) was a nice rainbow colored screen .

I tried with the famous Gigacube bios dated 29/08/2003 and the Powercolor bios dated 04/04/2003 (as vipperjohn @ rage3d forums had suggested). Downloaded both from here using the boot floppy image option.

Even the supposingly original bios as downloaded from the same site gave me the same results. Lucky me the boot image gives you the option to backup your original bios (had done that already through atitool).

My card details:
Club3D 9800pro 128MB
Bios:113-A07502-106 23/05/2003
PWA: 109-A07500-00 REVA00
Memory: samsung 319 K4D26323RA-GC2A

Can anyone imagine why even what was supposed to be my card bios gives me this result?

Could it be that I have a card that uses a 'special' bios ??

Hi ther i was reading your post and i have the sane problem!!! did you ever get it fixed out and if so what bios did you use??
