I had a crackling noise going on with My Corsair Vengence 2000 headset plus my internet connect failed. I trouble shot everything with no avail. 2 days later, unplugged my PSU and bingo, plugged it back in and crackling gone plus ethernet running. Any comments?

I have the CV 2000 also. I would imagine that the PSU was emitting some kind of noise that the headset was picking up. What that might be or why, I have no idea.

crackling sound is caused my improper connection with AC, given to sound drivers. this makes them go crazy.
these are from micro sparks. similar thing will happen with your desktop speakers if you jiggle the power supply on the wall outlet :p

this is a result of dust and loose connection XD  nothing serious :p
