Wiggling Acer Aspire One power jack normal?

Hi all!
I just accedentaly pulled on my Netbook charger....It still works but the power jack is a little bit wiggling - NOW i dont know if it was doing that before......Still charging like a cham.

Is a wiggling power jack normal for acer aspire one netbooks?

umm, is that bad or just little loose. athough its still work you need to check further coz on netbook/laptop all connected to motherboard directly, although now works fine you wont know next

First of all....Thanks for the reply!

I researched a little and found out following:
Most modern laptops dont seem to have the power jack solder directly onto the main board.
They are sitting in a little "SLOT" where they are connected to the motherboard NOT BY SOLDER, BUT BY WIRES!
Here a pic of a Power Jack after googling for "Acer Aspire Once Power Jack"

Why would someone solder a jack onto the board, if it is already connected over the cable!?

I just want to know, if other Aspire One owners experience the wiggeling of their charger, when its plugged in. :toast:

I own an AAO and i can say that it does not wiggle freely, only when i exert a little force on it.

Does yours moove a little (maybee 1/4") into all directions , if you push it that way?
Mine doesnt wiggle either freely.
But i can easily make if moove into 1 direction, if i push it.
Its like the power jack is not soldered onto the MB.
BTW: What modell do you own?

i would say less than 1/4" but it does still move, but only when i push at it. i own a ZG5, added extra RAM, bigger HDD and a touchscreen to it.

The ZG5 has its Power Jack soldered on the motherboard - so it shouldnt wiggle AT ALL... :wtf:

You may wanna check that out.
