RUMOR - Wii U to have more than 1 GB of RAM

Well it has to, xbox with its 512mb of ram was enough at first but it has really held back now. Nintendo is probably thinking about the future how long can this machine last?

Indeed

many have been targeting 1.5 GB to be fine for a long time now and this is just a confirmation sort of, hopefully it's accurate. Surprised to see 2 GB , 2 GB is optimistic and ... it would made machine actually practical, since RAM is a very worrying bottleneck.

Also update: the source says that we should forget about the 768 MB rumor, it's out, won't happen.

With how cheap RAM is these days, anything less than 2GB will cut the life of the system drammatically.
