Hello, found a good deal on a Thermal take A90 armor case (midsize) and was wondering if my XFX radeon 5850 will fit before i buy it?

i just used a tape measure and found that it is about 10" long.......

    thanks.

The 5850 is about the lenght of an ATX Motherboard, so my guess would be yes

I think your Thermaltake A90 should be able to fit a non-reference HD5850 (which are as you said around 10 inches long). The A90 looks about the same size as my Antec 300 or larger but you might lose 1 or 2 hard drive slots.

I thought the reference HD5850 was 9.5 inches, a standard ATX motherboard was 12 x 9.6 inches, and that a non-reference HD5850 was 10 inches or so. But regardless, it will fit.

Well, looking at my 5850's on my standard ATX motherboard, they line up perfectly.

Well it seems that he has a non-reference XFX Radeon HD 5850 HD-585X model and those are 10 inches in length (I read a review on Newegg and also contacted XFX through a support ticket) where as you may have reference ones which are 9.5 inches. When you eye it, the reference HD 5850 will line up with the ATX motherboard.

Any mid tower should fit a 5850 easily though
