Hi, this is my first post here. Glad to join the community!
My question is I have a new mid-range gaming system and my PSU is a Seasonic 550w 80+ Bronze unit. I would like to purchase a Nvidia (or 3rd party version) RTX 3060 ti. I notice on the TechPowerUp specs for varied 3060ti's that the min recommended PSU is 550w which again is what I have. However, when I look at different manufacturers websites for any particular 3060 ti, I see that they pretty much all state that a 600w (and sometimes even 650w) PSU is recommended.
I'm on a tight budget and am limited in my computer spending options. I've gone to the Outervision Extreme Power Supply calculator site, which seems quite thorough, and entered the specific parameters for what parts make up my system and included a moderately factory OC'd 3060 ti card, (yes, I know they're nearly impossible to find ATM but I'm patient : ). According to the results, my PSU is above the requirements by over 110 watts. I'd like to get any comments from the community if bottom line, my system is "good" with my Seasonic 550w unit. I'm not planning on overclocking my system as my CPU (Ryzen 5 5600x) already has a good boost feature. Below are my PC specs. Thanks!
