Will my PSU will be able to handle this?

Hey guys, My current rig is:
Graphics card: 7950 oc
Processor: I7 920 2.67 ghz
Ram: 6gb ocz reaper hpc ddr3 1600mhz
Case: NZXT tempest evo
HDD: samsung 500gb x2
Motherboard: DFI x58 dk t3eh6

and PSU: corsair 620w modular.

I plan on upgrading the case to Antec 1200 v3 and adding to the process a corsair h100 water cooler.
And OC my processor as much as possible, Now my question is, Will my PSU will be able to handle all this stuff? Will it be able to handle the antec 1200 and the h100? And what is the max OC I can push my processor with my current PSU?

you will be fine. the 7950 doesnt suck up that much power and its not like you have hundreds of hard drives hooked up like some other people around here.

you wont get 4.5 out of that CPU - at best, youre looking at slightly over 4Ghz, maybe 4.2 or 4.4Ghz if you are really lucky. 4Ghz is definitely doable unless youve got a bad chip

Personally I wouldnt risk it. An old 45nm i7 + 7950 oc + 620W PSU... thats smells like bad news.. never mind overclocking a 45nm i7... You might get away with it, but man, your pushing it.

You should be fine, loosely you are going to draw at "Peak" something like the following....

7950 - Max 175W
I7 920 @ 4ghz - Approx 180-190W TDP
2 x HDD's - Max around 20W
Add in Motherboard, ram and fans etc for a max of about 25W
Add a watercooling setup, not sure about draw on that so add 20W

That gives you an approx total of 430W, if I am way out there is still some margin and I am not way out on CPU and Video Card.

One i920 (OC to 4 GHz) GB UD5, one NV210, one HD and some fans is 260 W at the wall with a +87 PSU.

Assuming max efficiency that means about 225w drawn by the system, which makes Tatty's number spot on. Go ahead and overclock it!

The PSU is all go for the system.

Back in the day of the X1950pro I remember ATi was making people believe they all needed a seriously beefy PSU with their recommendation which actually was not the case if read through properly, not that people could comprehend what fully loaded system meant.

Not even close!

That system will pull, fully overclocked (CPU and GPU) no more than 450W AT THE WALL (take in to account PSU efficiency, and you are looking, at most, around 400W).
