Will the M.2 2230 Wi-Fi card PCIe to Wi-Fi card adapter that I took the card from several years ago work as a PCIe to M.2 adapter?

I have an old 128GB M.2 2230 card that I pulled out of my no longer functioning laptop, I'd like to know if its possible if I can shove it into an old Wi-Fi Card to PCIe adapter card that I had bought a couple years ago so that I can use it with a system that doesn't natively support M.2 Drives.
Yes, I am very aware this is a less than bright question to ask on a forum like this, however, I like money.
The Wi-Fi Card in question is provided below.

Wifi cards and storage M.2s are keyed differently. I don't think it will even fit. Storage M.2s are usually M or B+M keyed, wifi cards usually E keyed (which the slot on the adapter clearly is).

Hypothetically, if it is keyed right and fits, it should be able to see and use the drive, but that doesn't mean you can boot from it. But seeing as it's an E keyed Wifi adapter, I'm not sure this is going to work at all.
