Right! This shit is getting stupid. China buys them up and re-markets (after stealing the tech) them at a higher price.

Now that you say that it would be a good move from AMD to overprice their stuff at launch and drop the price just afterwards, that would teach those dam' scalpers some manners.

That is such a great Idea I wounder why they don't just start them off at 1500 bucks then after all the scalpers have sucked them up drop the price to consumer level?

I was talking stupid like a bot. Lets buy up as much as we can then sell them all back when the price is so high the consumer can't afford it.
But I bet it's like China that buys them up in mass effectively and artificially inflating the price.
Video cards are so expensive still it's just not even funny any more. CPU's are bit more manageable, But thanks to crypot nerds we have high card prices.
