win 7 starter or win 7 upgrade from xp?

That's just sad..

whats the deal with the upgrade?
IF I have to reformat will i have to install xp again, then install the upgrade again? lol
Or will I just be able to directly install the win 7 upgrade?

The full version is like 200 bucks and the upgrade like 119 from what i see.
I'll just upgrade if that's the case.

I'm just going to look for a good deal on the full version.
