Doesn't the media creation tool do this?

If not I'd like to recommend Seagate disk wizard. It's always serve me well in the past and it has a fairly simple user interface. If I recall correctly it's built off of acronis' software

What I showed is the exact path in windows 10 for what you showed....please do look again. I made them screenies on my windows 10 laptop just now lol...Top[ screenie takes you to bottom screenie in windows 10...hear my echo below :roll:

this is where the option is in windows 10 btw. it just offers the option to roll back to windows 7 in the navigation pane, but this isnt what you HAVE to do.

Yeah I will have to start considering using that because I am getting tired of having to do a complete reinstall Elation if Windows gets borked I'm just tired of doing that it takes so long for me to do all the tweaks that I do I might as well just have an image of it that way it'll work properly as long as no stupid Windows update bork it again

You don't want a back up on a flash drive anyway. Too volatile

Actually, with Easus ToDo Free backup you can have up to 5 (it might be more, don't recall at the moment) saved to the same drive/location. You've also got options for full or incremental backup images. In any case, you aren't limited to just one image.

Of course you'll need a bootable device. (DVD or flash drive) to load that image of system backups, but it will do that for you too if you want.

You need NTFS cause this file system can hold one file larger than 4GB. 4GB file size is a limitation for any FAT32 or other file systems. If your image file is larger than 4GB you need NTFS. With windows 7 backup it will ask you for NTFS for sure. Precaution I'd say but you need to follow. Same happens when you make image with Symantec Ghost solution. I had to use NTFS as well and honestly I don't mind. If you can't change the file format on the USB drive try Using Partition magic application. This software will definitely be helpful

This one is godsent, works everytime and you have more back up options. Native Windows Backup & Restore tool tends to fail quite often, I don't like it.
