Out this year? Better start saving for a WiiU... Windwaker was one of my favorite Zelda games. I wish they'd redo Majora's Mask though.

"After that, the all-new Wii U Zelda game will offer revolutionary changes to the series' staples - a series of dungeons presented in a particular order and, most excitingly, that the series is traditionally played alone." This sentence has me horrified.

I used to a huge zelda fan but now I am so behind. Looks good though.

Your talking about the gameboy ones right? I loved the oracle renditions! But then again the last time I plaid them I was probably 11 or 12... :p

I bled zelda in my younger years, While other play FF and super mario and newer classics like RE1/2.

The only thing I liked about wind waker was the sailing. Some say that twilight princess and skyward sword sucks but I kinda liked them even though I have not finished both of them yet.

My number one game that they should remake would be Link to the past for SNES! I can rick roll that game in under 2 1/2 hours flat without dying. (My sister watched the even take place!)

Yea I did this on Wii Virtual console with a Wii pro controller. So much fun!! I really want to do it again. I am currently playing OOT on N64 emulator and I am using a USB to N64/PSX adaptor with a OEM N64 controller! Oh how I miss that feel from my child hood.

Yeah I have played plenty of emulators but I missed that snes nostalgia (my first console) so I purchased one a few months ago and have been slowly building up my collection of games again. Just wish I could find Chrono Trigger at a decent price. :banghead:

Wind Waker runs beautifully, in full HD, on my PC using Dolphin and an Xbox controller. So do most other GameCube and Wii titles.

And Brandon is full of beans, it's a great game.

Some people like it but others don't. It was too cartoony for my tastes as a zelda game.

You are right there, it is definitely cartoony. I really like the cell shaded look, though, it looks super in 1080p. It's the first Zelda I've played that wasn't top down, too, so I find it very fresh.

It was about then I stopped liking them (and the latest ones I haven't even tried). I didn't like Mario 3D either. Most games that were excellent in 2D suffered from going to 3D.

Nah, I tried it for a bit using either Project64 or Dolphin, I just didn't like it as much, but I'll give it another shot. If I remember it was much darker and not as vibrant looking as WW.

How many HD remakes is Nintendo going to make in like a 2 year timespan?

You have to use an original N64 controller to get the feel for the game or purchase an N64.

That had to be the most cumbersome un-ergonomic thing ever made. Half of the difficulty of GoldenEye was getting used to that thing.

I learned it quickly but I have seen others who couldn't. It was one of those acquired tastes. Once you figure out how to use it on FPS then it was BOSS! I still try to run train on the highest level

Damn, I've spent hours and hours swapping the controller back and forth with buddies playing the train on 007. You know exactly where each enemy is going to pop out, it's just a matter of putting the crosshairs there. Fun stuff.
