Windows 10 issues!

So for about 3 to 4 weeks now i'm having some issues with windows 10, Issues like LAN proxy "network says i have internet access but i can't access the internet it doesn't show a x or an exclamation sign" and huge frame rate drops in all games and stuttering! What i'm wondering is if i update my bios will it play nice with windows 10? Because i haven't updated my bios since i bought my system.

I know I have to use Google DNS, otherwise certain pages won't load for me. 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4.

BIOS won't solve anything. What motherboard do you have?

Really? I don't know what to think anymore or what to try. MSI Z97A Gaming 7, i7 4790k and MSI 980ti

I've got a client having something of a similar issue at home, but not at work. I'd recommend doing the firmware update/driver update dance. Going to dig into her problem later today, I'll try to update if I find something specific.

Remove your PC from your home group, delete the home group and start another home group....
I've had to that 3 times for very similar reasons.

On the same system? i actually reset the drivers and didn't add a home group so far i have not had the issue, will update if i do.

Yup... I have no idea what causes it and it only happens on Windows 10...

It will act like it still has internet until you're on then no connection or I'll start getting severe drop outs and lag when gaming

I had a similar issue but it only happen on older hardware, Windows would install the stock drivers which would make it nearly impossible to access the internet. Luckily I had newest Intel and Realtek NIC drivers that ran perfectly on Win 10 x64 1607 version, installing those fixed my that problem.

This also can happen on a non-fresh install of WIn 10, when you try to boot from a different computer/motherboard, after a single failed boot, Windows will try to re-detect and re-install all of the drivers, which definitely won't be the most stable or newest.

I tried everything, flushing cache, resetting router, uninstalling the device completely from the list, removing the LAN connection entirely, none of those helped.
