I have a bit of a problem with a friends computer I'm hoping someone has dealt with before. When you try to log in to any user profile, it takes forever to log in, and it Finally gives an error message "User Profile Service failed to load", and loads a temporary profile. I have tried a few fixes, adjusting the registry for the profile, copying a default profile from a working computer, virus scan, ect. The first Malwarebytes scan did fine over 1000 things, but nothing that was really major and Im kinda out of Ideas. Any Thoughts

You might want to Ask Microsoft on it too.

What do you mean? Did it say these were infections of some kind? If so, don't bother trying to fix Windows. Instead, back up any data, format and reinstall it from scratch. This is the only way you can be sure that there's no malware left.

Is there any way of creating a brand new profile? May have to do some command line running also is there any way of accessing the administrator account? I've heard before that certain profiles had to be deleted via their folder in order to fix certain issues

I did create a brand new profile, and its still giving it the same issues. I actually wanted/want to reinstall windows, but the person im looking at it for is trying to avoid that because the tax software they have (they're a tax collector) is a pain to get off the county to reinstall, so im trying to do this without a fresh install

You can attempt a parallel install or a repair from disk.

Did you try going into Services.msc and checking to see if the User Profile Service is running? If it isn't, try starting it and see what error message it gives you.

First, make a clone or backup of all his disks.
Second, run a disk check for errors.
Then, start playing with moving his user profile to a new one or trying to repair it.
And, you may want to look at some of the tutorials on the web for doing an in place upgrade without losing data, apps, or programs for his version of OS.

EDIT: You may want to take a look here --> Repair Windows User Profile data & settings with ReProfiler
ReProfiler website: IWR Consultancy

It would really help if you’d answer my question. I didn’t ask you for you to ignore it.

In that case dont stuff around and ether clean them all off, run a AV a few of them, and if that still doesnt help then back up the files and do a format. 1000PUP's is a bad sign!

TY all for the ideas suggestions, and i didnt ignore your question, i somewhat answered. Running sfc after DISM fixed some corrupted files which greatly increased the speed, I ran another malwarebytes scan after which found a few more pups, and 1 trojan. Still failing to login on just the main profile I transfered all the files to another one I made which it did let me log into, so problem solved. The reprofiler sounds like it may have been worth a try, the windows auto repair didnt work though.
