At some point you would get burnt by the missing components, failed windows update, or maybe at a later date you suddenly need a feature which doesnt work.
Performance gains are unlikely to be anything outside of margin of error ranges, and could even be worse if a lost feature benefited gaming.
I remember when using nLite to make my Win 10 install ISO, I cut a codec which was labelled as completely safe to remove and only is there as a legacy codec for 2000 era content. I then post install on the VM discovered it was a dependency for playready DRM which certainly isnt legacy. So that is one such example.
Savings for storage however are more practical gains, so e.g. removing all the bloatware store APPs can make a measurable saving on the OS drive.

yea, but sometimes lite or any like that may act differently on different machine
i remember ever installing win 7 lite just to figure that after sometimes the start menu dissapeared and the task manager sometimes refused to appear

Unofficial yes, no idea whats fake about it, its a modded version of windows, no different than modding a game. Its for people who know what they are doing with windows, and have a specific purpose for it. That doesnt mean its any less illegal, but fake, not really.
