that is what I'm using now is that good enough or is there something better for windows 11

Hi,
I use the same combo mbam premium and defender although defender is turned off with periodic scanning option off on 10

I started removing defender completely recently using @W1zzard benchmarking cmd commands ms just turned defender into pestware nagging just for changing settings off default like sample sending/... so now I try defender bye bye lol

Win-11 to soon to say but really don't care either way.

If you keep Windows current, your security software current, and you are not "click-happy" on every unsolicited link, attachment, download and popup you see (the EXACT SAME precautions needed regardless your security of choice) then sure, your setup is "good enough".

FTR, that is the same setup I am using on all my systems here - no problems.

thank you I'm happy with it glad it's good enough

malwarebytes is totally fine.
and i deleted the defender completly on purpose. like wizz wrote (defender is crap and it makes no point having two scanners in a row)
the rest is written in my thread that ended with a drama..
;)

Here W11+ Kaspersky

Defender is there but for me it is as if it doesn't exist

this gets noticable when its not there anymore. the other program runs faster in every manner.
and the OS as well. + the service list from lexluthmiester to deactivate and delete unimportant things and it runs like grease on ice

ice gon GIF

Till i am using a Beta OS theres not point disabling it, will see when final build is released. ;)

agree. BUT now can be the time to test it as well. no final OS is in danger and u gain experience

Then provide a link.
try it. instead of repaste the folders just look after them and DELETE it without mercy.
:D

Read the mini-guide, will try it later.
if u "fuck" up the TPM thing your HDD (data is in danger)!:slap:

A: no risk no fun
B: tinkering lesson on a sunday

(dont worry. i wrote it for security to make a shadowcopy mandatory for random ppl) my first attemps were "hairy" but then it never happened again
