I am planning to buy new laptop.But confused little which system to buy.So please share your experience so i can get some ideas.which one is better..?

I say windows 7 as well and have used both...I would also say go with 64Bit as well.

Windows 7 by far. The Betaversion of Windows 7 is more stable than the released version of Vista. Avoid Vista at all costs and get Windows 7. Its not as hardware hungry, more stable, better thought out and it just feels better.

Definitely Windows 7, although not much other than the taskbar appears to have been changed from Vista, everything just feels faster and the new taskbar design is great

You should mention the Vista crapiness compared to 7 even after Vista's had two service pack releases.

Also, if your buying a laptop with Vista on it you can get a free Win 7 upgrade through MS. I've even noticed some places discounting Vista systems just to get rid of them.
