I hope it ends up faster than Vista. The more import question is whether or not DX11 will be fast or just another upgrade money pit like DX10.

i've tested mine on both windows 7 and vista my system liked windows 7 better for gaming, windows 7 out performs windows vista in DX9 games by alot on my system.

Yeah its still too early to tell. RC releases will be more telling, and 7 will almost certainly be faster, not that it will be anything dramatic though, probably in almost all cases not noticeable in actual gaming, just in recorded fps.

ture but who know how actual windows 7 video drivers will run atm there is none theres only beta from windows update thats 179.23 or vista drivers

if the beta is anything to go of and they keep going forward not backwards windows 7 will be amazing, the beta runs perfect on my system and gaming is amazing

Well gaming should be better in Windows 7 regardless of GPU brand.

According to a Microsoft rep at BETT last week Windows 7 uses less resources than even XP (obviously, as well as Vista) so there are more resources available for gaming...
