My friend has ME, and he doesn't like the boot screen. Is there a free program that I can use to change the screen? Thanks for your help. :)

I don't think that there is anything wrong with ME. I now use it on my "budget pc". by budget pc, i mean like good, inexpensive parts.

Yeah, it's okay for internet and Solitaire. :p

Is your friend really gonna lose sleep over the boot screen? Or is it so slow to load that he actually spends a significant amount of time staring at it?

It's been a long time since I witnessed an ME boot screen, but if it's anything like XP's, changing it isn't as simple as you might think.
