hello good day. not sure where to ask this

but here we go

i got a h710 case.

and i had a old 1024x768 touch screen atm monitor.

i stripped the monitor and it somehow worked without breaking it.

now that i'm going to mount it on the inside of the side panel.

one thing occoured to me....

since its a display it wil show up as one. and allows you to drag you mouse over it ect.

is there a way to not do this?

in the end i wil be running animations and wallpaper engine on it.

but if i accidentally move my mouse on it i wil lose it.

is there a way to "barrier" that from happening?

ps as a side note.

i wanted to tint the sidepanel and only leave the lcd part exposed.

what can i do for this?

i just sprayed some spraypaint on a spare glass sidepanel to see how it looks.

but i've been thinking about window black out foil.

Maybe you could run it from a vm and disable mouse&keyboard in it, and use some remote management tool like TeamViewer when you need to mess with it? But running it from the main computer seems like too much resource wise imo. I guess you could also use a Raspberry PI or similar for it?
