man, im getting old...
At least they didn't start with MS-DOS all the way through
i dont believe that was even possible. dos 5 was the first dos that could actually be upgraded from a previous version.
Nice find! That video was both informative and enterntaining... who would've thought a color scheme survives 13 years lol.
That is actually pretty damn cool.
Though I was disappointed he didn't include ME. Yes, 2000 technically came first, but ME was still the older technology.
my understanding is that he excluded ME because it was not a major release. and yes, it is pretty damn cool!
That was pretty good actually, didnt think I would watch it all the way through when I first started but before you know it it was Windows 7 and I sat through the whole thing
Damn making me wanna break out the old Win 3.1 virtual machine for laughs
This is a fantastic video. Great find.
My opinion on this is the same as this guy's:
I was about to ppost this earlier but didn't becos of work, so congrats to you! I really liked it.
Saw this on release in the school computer lab:
Only if the upgrades really did take as long as the video itself...
Pretty impressive how some of the old files and games were still there like Doom 2 and MI.
