Wine 1.0 Release Candidate 2 Available for Download

Linux and Unix owners already know and love Wine. No, silly, not the red/white alcoholic beverage, the program. Wine, which has been in development for some time, is a program that allows Linux and Unix users to run Windows applications in a Linux/Unix environment. Wine is getting ever closer to a final version, and this Release Candidate 2 shows this in the list of changes. hope this will finally let me use my steam on my linux
ive read of many people getting it to work but it just doesnt properly on my distro
*kix fedora*
i read in the changelog that they fixed a steam bug where steam halts at 26% or somthing during an update w00t.
also, i had nfi that they were imporiving support for supreme commander, when i read that i was stoked
i'll have to fiddle around with a few different distros and the newest wine, once it gets compatable enough im probably going to stick with linux for a long time
