We have a BT Home Hub which randomly craps out, sometimes it stays on and just the connection drops, other times the Home Hub will restart itself meaning we will have to wait longer to reconnect.
It does it occasionally if I'm just using the internet for browsing, but it happens very commonly when I play Steam games such as Counter-Strike Source or Team Fortress 2. It usually happens before I get in game or very soon into the game, if i'm in the game for a couple of minutes I can usually play fine for hours on end.
I'm using a Netgear N WN121T wireless USB adapter to recieve from the hub, which is supposed to be designed for gaming and high usage.
I've tried many things in the past involving internet and home hub settings but nothing has worked so far and it's beginning to get annoying again because I just want to play my games like any other.
Can anyone think of anything to try? Please be descriptive if your going into lingo, I don't know a lot when it comes to internet settings and stuff aha.
