Hitman Absolution use VRAM 5171MB @ 8 x MSAA 3840 x 2160 resolution.

But the game itself is 32bit so I wonder why it can access virtual memory > 4GB

Since VRAM is one part of the virtual memory right ?

PAE (Physical Address Extension)? Don't know about Windows...

Hitman Absolution is both 32 bit and 64bit. In that review it is running 64 bit.

Also those limitations are for dx9 only as dx10/11 makes use of vram virtualization (vista,7,8) ... with dx9 even on x64 with Large Address Aware, game used ram + game used vram < 4 GB
