If you like mobility you are not going to like the Ferdi, it was a fun TD though.

What level your crew is?, because mine is 100% with 4 skills (4th at 99%) and the traverse is very good IMO, i never get circleshooted by fast tanks in my Tiger II. I really like the Tiger II, i feel i can defeat any Tier 8 opponent with it, i can't say the same about the Lowe, although i have the same win ratio with it.

I prefer to play mobile tanks, but I can do well with slow tanks too. The slow tanks must have decent enough armour (eg Tiger P, Churchills) to make up for the slow speed.

Crew is about 70% into their first skills, tank is maxed out for the time being. I am starting to get to grips with this tank, it drives like a halfway between Tiger and Tiger P: armour just good enough for the occasional bounce at ~300m, but don't rely on it for brawling range. Fighting tier 9 and 10 opponents are pretty fun, the mere presence of a KT will cause them to think twice about being aggressive.

Nice little game with my favorite Tier 5 Arty, no premium sadly and not the first win of the day.........

The 2nd Pic is why it's often difficult to draw even on a tier 6 arty without premium, not a special game by any means, for me probably a decent average game (3 or 4 kills) but I actually lost 1000 credits in this one, whats a man gotta do to make a crust! :(

The SU-8 is indeed a wonderful machine. The only thing I didn't like about it was it's abysmal top speed.

And find my SU-14 to be mostly profitable, though that only came full force with the big gun.

Took 27 hits to take down my Churchill VII, whoever said that the tank have paper for armour is clearly caught with his pants down. All it takes is a little sidescrape and terrain to become an impassable wall. Dished out 2k worth of damage in return fire, quite a good match for me.

I love it, it's downsides for me is it's relatively slow traverse speed and lack of range but that's more than made up for in it's trajectory and it's damage ability.

And don't forget the relative cheapness of it's big guns shells. :D

Still find the similarities between all the t5 top arty guns spooky.

The complaint with that tank is not the armor but the gun. Unlike the Churchill I's best gun which is great for its battle tiers, the Churchill VII's best gun is merely a slight upgrade on it.

And since the Cromwell and Comet have the same best guns (with the I and VII respectively) they also have problems (in the case of the Cromwell it's not the gun per se that is the problem though, but the paper-thin armor; with the Comet lack of much damage with its gun is obvious in tiers 7-9).

The Comet is a good tank, I'm doing well with it actually. The only thing I hate with it is the final gun. Damage-wise it's the same as the final gun of the AMX 12t and AMX 13 75, without the benefit of being an autoloader.

Looking back at previous 'good game' replays of mine, I did 1.5k damage with my T20 with just 8 hits. I did 1.7k damage with my Comet with 16 hits.

Well if you have played Panther then you will come to appreciate any gun with a higher damage than 100, especially one with armour and one tier lower.

I find Cromwell's playstyle more or less the same as most of the tanks before it (Covenanter, Crusader): paper armour, machine gun for a main cannon, if you make use of the terrain its lack of armour becomes a non-issue. The problem is that terrain can only be so forgiving, on flat city maps it becomes rather hard to play these tanks. However, when things go wrong I can only blame myself not the tank: it can only perform as good as you can drive it. Some tanks like ELC AMX relies on the team to pull its weight, while others like Churchill VII can be affected by how your opponent choose to play (controlled push with arty support negates most of its advantages), and if you are tossed to a tier 8 heavy game you might as well afk.

12t is a strange tank. I tend to play it as a sniper in the opening minutes, then switch to close in support as the numbers thin.

Oh dear. You know those times where nothing goes right?

On my farm for daily double on my SU-14, I managed 3 games without dealing any damage at all. :S

Russian tanks in general? They sometimes can't even hit a cathedral from point blank.

Any reason why I got so little xp compared to the 2 other t7 Russian TDs?

LOL can't really help you there if I don't know what the numbers mean, i.e. they're not in English LOLOLOL

Anyway, it seems that...
1. you haven't moved much
2. shots made at closer ranges have a slight XP bonus (if they deal damage) - I'm guessing that the enemy got closer to those two than to you, hence why firstly they had sustained damage, and secondly their shots would obviously be made at closer ranges
3. you don't seem to have any 'damage while detected' on any enemy

It has the same setup as it would be if it was in English. So you can just bring one of your own up, to get a comparison.

Edit: All the damage the SU-152 dealt was at about 400 meters against an M6.

Finally achieved tier vi with my churchill vii! Also obtained a matilda black prince premium tank. Got my clan up to 14 members, and 8 have reported so far. Just a little more trimming and recruiting, and I'll be able to field a full team of 15! Dam fun game!

Well just on the verge of moving from my fantastic little tier 7 T71 upto a more potent tier 8 T69, hopefully I won't be dissapointed!

My platoon mate did the same thing Tatty. Unfortunately he sold his T69 after a dozen of battles or so.
As much he enjoyed his T71 he hated T69.

But YMMV, different players different playstyles. :)

Yeah, the only thing with the T71 is that it cannot take a shot, I mean ANY shot, tier 4 scouts will penetrate pretty much every time, and with just 840HP you don't last long with the wrong tactics on the wrong map, especially if a high tier TD manages to get one on you, your gone in a single shot, even for a light Tier 7 it a huge problem, although you cant have everything of course. I would gladly give up 10KM per hour for more/better armour and a more powerful gun...... but we will see.

I tend to scout stealthy, then later in the game descend on enemy and finish them.

First impressions of Ferdinand: Lazer gun powered by pedalling monkeys. Its like the engineers forgot to give that vehicle an engine and the driver needs to pedal to get his vehicle moving.

Yeah, Porsche made a flop with the Elefant.

8.5: second medium tank line for Germany (presumably starting from the VK3002DB), plus new low-tier light tanks for the USSR.

Shot 5k damage while fending off 6 tanks with Super Pershing ally on my Tiger II and we still lost. This game can be pretty unforgiving. I am starting to like the Tiger II, it performs as directed, leaving not much to luck (other than "great" teammates). I am still making money on my Tiger II (as long as I don't do stupid things like trying to snipe ELC from 400m), performs beautifully (contrary to earlier opinion), and is a keeper.

I told you that you'll like it. :)
And the best part is that KT is just a preview for one of the most beautiful tanks in WoT: E-75 that's is.
I love mine and I'll keep it forever.

There are a lot of things you need to learn when driving the Tiger II which cannot be explained easily like making your armour work for you (angling/sidescrape is only half the story, you really need to know where your opponent is going to shoot and how you intend to take the shot - sacrifice tracks, angle for a bounce, protect the engine/driver, etc). It can do anything you want it to, which is very useful since pub players tend to do whatever they wish, more often than not leaving lanes completely uncovered and things like that. I suppose that's why I still can't make Ferdi work for me: it cannot perform certain roles like defending against flankers.

My only problem is that everything breaks apart when your opponent points a barrel at you.

I'm doing well with my Tiger II lately...apparently I've averaged 2.8k damage dealt with it in the last 4 games. And here's the kicker...I've averaged 2k damage while spotting. LOL

Mostly happened in Westfield, I was essentially the one spotting for most of the TDs and arty in the team LOL
