I have an ASUS 5850 + XFX 5850 (soon) + XFX 5870 (soon) (ALL REFERENCE) used as 5850+5870 XFX CF, and I will sell the ASUS 5850

I have the possibility to buy a Sapphire 5870 and sell the XFX 5850 for 50-75$ loss, this would make 5870 CF for me

Worth it or not?

I say run the 2 5850's in cf and sell the 5870, the resale value is a lot more than the 5850s and you can easily clock the 5850's to 5870 performance

Edit: nvm lol just seen you havent bought the 5870 yet, 5850 and 5870 cf is a good setup ;)

well here's a thing.. * TRI-FIRE * jk

something to note... When you CF 5870 + 5850 it may drop the performance of the 5870 down to 5850 level so that the 5850 could catch up (in sync). CF 5850 would be a better combo (sync). but CF 5870 = best.

I could resell the 5870s for profit xD but no, I don't want to sell the XFX one

I think I'll go 5870 CF then
