Worthy of buying?

Basically a 650w psu just for your gpu! That's pretty sweet! AND much cheaper than buying a whole new psu, only 69$, It's good to have the extra power and know you don't need to upgrade your psu very often!

"Fits into any empty 5.25" drive bays in any system" So where does it exactly fit? I'm going to buy one ASAP!

Hmm, looks good, but it would be blowing a hell of a lot hot air into the case. If it's smaller than a regular PSU, you might be able to find another place to put it if your case is big enough.

I'm going to place it into an Antec 300. I have 2 x120mm intake at the front. 1 x120mm intake on the side for my 3 GTS 250's, a 140mm outake at the top and a 120 outake at the back. Enough air flowing?

Comparing it to a:
normal psu(average): 15cm x 14cm x 8.6cm.
vga psu: 18.5cm(L)x14.8cm(W)x4.2cm(H)

It seems to be a bit longer thats about it.

if you were to sell your current psu, and then put that and the $69 towards a now psu, wouldn;t that be better? i guess it depends on how expensive they are in australia

I have a Corsair 750 tx which is a very good psu. But why not buy a dedicated vga psu for this cheap and being such a good brand?!

What is the point of buying a dedicated vga psu when you already have a quality psu? People are trying to minimise point of failures, not increase them.

its more economical and environmentally friendly to have one higher efficiency psu, the best thing you could do is go higher efficiency and that will save energy and be more stable

I guess if you were adding another video card to your system by going tri/quad, it might make sense. But i agree with the above posters, 1 bigger supply is better than 2x smaller
