Hi all,

I am still thinking about buying a HS1 or HS1A headset.
I have read some reviews. Some say its perfect while others say its so so for gamers.

I will use this Headset mostly for games, but also for music.

I would like some opinions from the true PC enthusiasts meaning from TPU members about this headset.

Thanks in advance.

I personally don't know anything about the Corsair headsets, but I personally don't trust Corsair for audio products just yet. They just entered the market.

I personally prefer Sennheiser. I have a paid of HD 280 Pros for music (which I rarely use anymore, but will once I learn how to play my electric guitar sitting behind me), and PC 350s. I f*cking love my PC 350s. I used to buy $30 headsets, and they would break (mic dead, one ear stops working, etc.) after about 4mo every time. I finally bit the bullet, and have had these for over a year now. HuskyStarcraft also uses them ;)

Ok cool, I will check out the 350's. Are they comfy on the ears?
Also are the open ear, or closed ear.

Just checked out the PC350s they are really nice and from the reviews they seem to be the best there is.

I snagged them for about $140 when I bought them. They are closed ear and are truly worth the investment, IMO. Do your best to shop around a bit. As for a cheaper recommendation, I don't have one for you. I went small and ended up shelling out money over twice a year, so I went big.
