Hi, I do not have anything to sell but I wanted to remember you that a X2 555 is actually a locked X4 B55 (which can be unlocked in your BIOS) so you might already have what you're searching for.

Thanks for that but years ago I tried it with a good board MSi 790- gd65 to unlock but got a black screen and required clear cmos to reset. I rather just want something that works

Too bad it has to be AM3, I still have my AM2+ Phenom II x4 940 that's sitting in the box.

Yeah the board is AM3 only. I went with another route and will need to build a new machine for him. Was lazy and hoping to just drop an upgrade in. Turns out people want $100 for a 1045.
