The H80 is a very good cooler, have had one for years. It was the first AIO I ever mounted externally because of the thickness. It kept my 2600K cool at 5.15Ghz using two Silverstone FM121's at full speed in push/pull. Still have that rig but it's clocked down to 4.7Ghz now and very rarely gets powered up anymore. IMO the best 120mm AIO I've ever owned.

must be, part of the reason why my phenom ii won't past 4000mhz is cause it tends to throtle on my h70, is 3900mhz now and good so far.

Phenom II's hit a wall a little over 4Ghz. It's the CPU not the cooling. If you want to play with things of that vintage get an i7 2600K setup and discover 5Ghz. I had an AMD 8150 I got 5.05Ghz out of and the 2600K destroyed it in all benchmarks and applications. The fastest Phenom II I ever had was a 940 I got 4.2Ghz out of. I still have it somewhere here. I went through countless 955's & 965's and none of them do better than slightly over 4Ghz. The 6 core Thubans have the same problem. I have a 1090T @3.95Ghz in a rarely used rig, it won't go any faster no matter what voltage I put into it.

No matter what you do you're never going to get more performance from it than you already have. It's a lost cause. Either buy a new CPU, motherboard and RAM or newer used Intel stuff plus more DDR3 RAM. Z77, Z87 and Z97 Intel mobos & CPU's still bring decent prices used because they still work well for many things. Even upgrading your mobo to a 990FX would be a waste of money. I gave away a brand new AMD 965 a few years ago because it was obsolete for anything but web surfing. You have an 11 year old CPU that's ancient at this point in time. That's reality.

I got a lot better frame rate in world of warcraft almost perfect instant response at 4/10 mid detail level. Used to be at 1/10 all of the time and still not as good as it's now!
I think is that CPU and NB overclock and not the extra memory because is still only using 2GB on a big map for ram, and almost 50% of the cpu, might be the NB overclock change.
