Looked the caps over, I didnt see any that look like they are going to vent or anything. Its a solid little setup. I also have another HP setup Im pulling apart and cleaning up, it has a 2GHz Celeron and 1GB of memory.

@ t-ski I uploaded a high quality photo in the OP so you can look it over. I got to looking a little more at the caps.... In the photo to the left side of the cpu/hs 2 of the caps are "bowing" slightly. The one 2nd up from the bottom, and the one just left and up from that. They havent split, but look to be expanding slighly. The board with the 2GHz does have a split topped cap.

Still runs fine. :ohwell:

I wouldnt feel right selling either board to anyone. The CPU's are good if someone wants to make an offer on them. 1- Celeron 1.8GHz and 1- Celeron 2GHz w coolers

Yeah, I deal enough with old Dell computers here that have blown or buldging caps to want one for home. Damn, would have been a great upgrade for the kiddos, too :banghead:

Lost a 2nd AM3 motherboard today. I have 2 crunchers down waiting for motherboard RMA's. Still got the 5770 FS. Anyone got a good high end AM3 board they want to trade? Like a gigabyte or Asus 785, 790FX, 790X.

Also looking for another good clocking 955BE or a 965BE in the $130 to $150 range or trade for the 5770.
