I just can't justify dropping $700+ on a new platform at the moment... after more considering and thinking I am going to just try again for a used 5800x3d...

there are too many games I play that benefit from x3d cache for me to give up on the upgrade... starcraft 2 being the main one right now, which I see heavy fps dips during big battles with my ryzen 5600... on x3d cache I won't see those dips.
