Well not over clocked I was playing cs:source this morning max settings and about 30 minutes later my video started artifacting fairly bad. So I popped open ati tool to see my card around 80c.... Not going to work, pulled the side off my case to check everything by eye and feel chipset heatshink was a little warm to the touch also. But I figure thats nothing a light 25mm fan can't fix..
As for the video card, I dropped a 60mm fan on the side duct and put it back in my case for now, seems to be helping a bit for now at least. But I think I would much rather just replace the heatsink and fan on my video card. Any suggestions, personal experience? I have never swapped cooling on a video card before so I'm not sure what to expect.
Just gotta hold out until I can get my x1950..... Heck I pulled the 60mm fan out of a dead power supply so I could get the extra cooling.....
