did you read my reply three posts above yours?

Oh, s*it, i am blind. Sorry.

;) Now, that's good to hear that you standup for yourself and said something about it. Just one idiot can cause troubles later on:toast:

Yeah man, I don't know W1zzard personally or anything, but for as long as I've been here he NEVER lets people insult him like that. It's pretty awesome, he always sticks up for himself when it comes to it. I mean for example, someone on this forum (forgot who) has a quote from the "ATItool logo" thread about some guy kussing him out on how he messed up the contest. His reply was awesome, just look for it in people's signatures.

i think i have better things to do with my time than make slides... maybe this is a business opportunity .. start pumping out slides and soon start working as external marketing consultant for several manufacturers.

I knew it! You're a subversive marketing guru!! You work for AEG, don't ya?!?!?!

Not sure why everyone got so wound up about this. I might be a noobie to this site but I have been building PC's for about 20 years now (and yes, I know that makes me old:toast: )

Anyway, I have used both cards, ATI and Nvidia. I tend to see very little if no real difference between the two especially at the ultra high end. The games are going to be in true motion anyway above 50 fps, you really can not tell.

All I know is that every time a new high end card comes out, the old ones drop in price. This is something we can all agree is a GOOD THING!!!:rockout:

it's all about e-penis size

I'd say on this site we're all about 1.5 feet. On average most people are like 1 inch, pretty sad seeing as how no one on earth seems to know about the things that let them live their lives (computers).

Do you recieved any perks (rewards)

Wizzard!!! Im just a little curious about all this things regarding Nv.
Does Nv rewards you for posting this kind of their slides on this forum? Because I think they'd love this kind of marketing scheme being posted to the masses
It doesn't bother me whether you are getting paid for it!
I just wanna know the truth if Nv is involving online marketing shills:cool:

nobody is paying (or giving other rewards) for posting ANYTHING on this site except for the advertising banners.

A reviewer may keep some stuff which is reviewed but that has no effect on the review.

The point of this site is to be a source of information for the community.

:D Ok wizzard, just wanna clarify that's all

The GeForce 7800 GTX 512 is slower than the x1900 series. It should be slower since it is an older GPU and ATI has had time to stamo up their GPUs since them. Both companies use BS thats why you have to look at reviews. Its not just Nvidia and ATI that does it, but all companies try to make their products look the best. Thats why reviews exist. Its the price to pay with capitalism, but I wouldnt have it any other way.

I don't think there is an X1800XTPE.

Yea there is i got one lol, www.sapphiretech.com they make one and they released bios for 700/1600 clocks for x1800xt and makes it pe lol. Anyway the 7800 gtx 512 mb is slower in f.e.a.r cal of duty 2 battlefield 2 far cry and many other games.

I'm sorry I still only see the XL and XT on the sapphire site.
If you say you have one though, I'm willing to believe you.

lol looks like nvidia is in trouble

According to a news article from The Inquirer, NVIDIA's upcoming GeForce 7900 GTX will be about eight to ten percent faster than the GeForce 7800 GTX 512MB.
This means that 7900 GTX might get close to ATI's X1900 XTX card but it will lose in many of the benchmarks. We suspect that at 4X FSAA and eight or sixteen times Anisotropic filtering ATI X1900 XTX can still keep its crown, but we still have to see this. Asian partners placed limited quantities order for G71, 7900 GTX chips and they ordered less chips then they usually do, according to sources.

I knew this would happen, there would be no economical reason for them to release a 32PP part this close to the launch of the G80. The 7900 chip is going to be the one in the ps3, only in that machine it's only going to be running at 550mhz.

thats the wrong choice even a gamecube (ATI gpu) has better graphics that a ps2 (sony gpu) and XboX (nvidia gpu) and it is an inferior system.
the ps3 is going to use a powerpc architecture for the procesing end
its one of the most important architectures (cell is) to come
in a really long time. This really is exciting and is surelly going to
take a lot of the shine from the nvidia chip witch by the way
is the most unexciting thing about it. i mean do you have a
blue ray drive in your computer?
